Buell’s Ride Ends: Harley-Davidson Retires Buell Production

Harley-Davidson has announced that it is ending production of the Buell Motorcycles. The end of production is slated for October 30th. In 1998 Harley-Davidson purchased a majority share of this American sport motorcycle company which was started in 1983 by Erik Buell. Parts and service for Buells will continue to be available through Harley dealerships.
